Cotton Velvet
Sand
Description
Woven with a dense, lustrous pile, this cotton velvet has the soft hand and gentle sheen that make velvet such an enduring choice for upholstery. Its natural drape and subtle depth of colour bring a refined, timeless quality to the piece, suited to considered interiors.
About
A cotton velvet chosen for its soft hand, natural drape and timeless character.
Care
- Blot any spills promptly with a clean, water-dampened cloth, then pat dry — avoid rubbing, which can push the mark deeper into the pile.
- Let the fabric air dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight, which can cause shrinkage or fading.
- Take extra care around red wine and other staining liquids, as velvet can be slow to recover from deep stains.
- Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment to lift dust and debris from the pile.
- Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes, which can affect the fibre and colourfastness.
- A professional upholstery clean every 12 months or so will help keep the fabric looking its best.
